BIOGRAPHY
Leo sun, Libra rising, Capricorn moon, Cancer Venus. 100% Italian American. "Bleach Queen." "The Babe of all Trades."
Amanda-Felicia is an interdisciplinary artist from southern New England.
A full time hair artist of a decade, she also practices other artistic disciplines including interior decor, photography, and customizing upcycled softlines with fifteen years of experience. Her film prints have been shown in multiple galleries in Rhode Island. She is currently studying ceramics and is interested in some jewelry making.
Prior to college and cosmetology school, Amanda was highly influenced from relatives and friends but when it came to hair it was specifically her mom. Working in the beauty industry before attending cosmetology school gave her the push to enroll.
"Watching my mom day in and day out (she’s been a stylist for over 35 years), led me to being her assistant at 10 years old and then led me to giving my friends kitchen + punk basement cuts before I finally committed to going to cosmetology school."
Amanda offers a variety of hair services, however she specializes in vivids, blonding, and color corrections. You may have seen her work featured and published on the social media accounts of Pravana (a global salon professional hair color company), GoodDyeYoung (a hair color company owned by Hayley Williams of Paramore), Pulp Riot, and The Tease magazine (@readthetease on social platforms).
Art truly is an outlet for Amanda and she is outstandingly passionate about what she does professionally.
Her goals are to continue popping up doing guest work all over the east coast and to continue to work towards her dream of opening a 𝚙𝚛𝚒𝚟𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏 𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚌𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚏𝚎 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚍𝚒𝚘 — 𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖎𝖓𝖌 soon.
